  • Dr. Jeanna Montgomery

    Owner + Veterinarian

My career began with my own spirit dog, Halo. She was adopted from the Dallas Animal Shelter. She healed my heart and taught me that this profession is about the human/animal bond. I know what it is like to want to keep a beloved pet as happy and healthy as possible in return for the joy and love they bring to your life. I am honored and humbled to get to do what I do every day. Serving my clients and caring for their pets is truly my passion.

Preston Center Animal Clinic has been my second home since 1995. I started here bathing pets on Saturdays and slowly worked my way to business owner. Dr. Williams has been an invaluable mentor for me in veterinary medicine, business and leadership. I am an Austin College Kangaroo (undergrad) and a Texas A&M Aggie (Vet school).  My work outside of PCAC included VCA in Sunnyvale and Banfield in Allen. I also spent many formative years learning veterinary medicine at the Emergency Animal Clinic in Dallas.

My family that supports me and makes all this possible includes my husband Cliff Brooks, a Firefighter instructor for Garland ISD, and two daughters Tori (3rd grade) and Juli (Kindergarten). Of course we have pets! Keizer the German Shepard (pictured), Obi the Labradoodle, Widdy the Goldendoodle (pictured), BK (Bobby Kitty) the cat and Ella the hedgehog.  Our team philosophy is simple- we take the best CARE OF our patients and we listen to and CARE ABOUT our clients.

She quickly realized that veterinary medicine was her true calling after taking Lincoln to his first puppy appointments. She enrolled at Loyola University of Chicago to complete her required course work for veterinary school while gaining experience at Family Pet Animal Hospital in Chicago. Graduating from The Ohio State University and becoming a doctor of veterinary medicine has been her proudest and most fulfilling accomplishment.

Dr. Mueller served on the board of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association (DCVMA) from 2016 to 2021. As president, she led the organization in supporting local veterinarians with continuing education opportunities and community outreach. Dr. Mueller continuously strives to expand her knowledge in all fields of small animal veterinary medicine, and has a particular interest in internal medicine, dermatology and preventive medicine. Strongly valuing the human-animal bond, Dr. Mueller loves caring for furry family members and especially enjoys forming lifelong relationships with her clients and patients.

  • Marshall

    Mascot

After being found by an employee during the summer of 2006 as a young, mangy puppy wandering down Marsh Lane (his namesake), Marshall quickly worked his way into the hearts of all who met him, including his future mom, and became the unofficial mascot of the clinic. Recovering from the recent loss of her beloved Daisy, Ellen agreed to take Marshall home overnight, and the temporary arrangement quickly became permanent as Marshall found his forever home with her. After celebrating his eleventh birthday in 2017 (of course commemorated with a birthday party at the clinic including cake, ice cream, and party hats), Marshall has entered partial retirement, only coming to the office a few days a week. His hobbies include patrolling his Preston Center territory, working for treats by performing his “$99 trick,” helping his mom clean up the kitchen after she bakes, and donning fancy outfits.
